Meet Ventures will consider exceptional startups for up to USD 50k investment at the end of the program. We will also be introducing startups in the program to angel investors and early stage VCs across the region.

John Lim, MBA
John is an entrepreneur and investor who has managed more than 12 different startup innovation programs. Examples include WingArc Accelerator (Big Data), LongHash Accelerator (Blockchain), CISCO Innovation Program (IoT), IBM-Watson Innovation Program (AI) and more. Many of the startups went on to achieve profitability and multimillion dollar valuations.
Farhan Firdaus, MScTIP
Farhan is a Venture Builder with a proven track record of growing a startup from Seed to Series B as its COO. He was also Head (Venture Building) for an ASEAN-focused investment firm and helped its portfolio companies to achieve more than $1M annual recurring revenue. Till date, Farhan has mentored more than 500 startup founders across the APAC region.

Why Meet Ventures?
Our team has experience running over a dozen start-up programmes for various MNCs and government agencies across Southeast Asia. Some of our partners and mentors were previously founders themselves who have successfully grown their start-ups into highly profitable businesses.
Why should early-stage start-ups join this programme?
90% of new start-ups fail for a variety of reasons. We want to cut through the uncertainty surrounding the entrepreneurial journey and offer the highest quality guidance and support to help start-ups scale sustainably and successfully navigate the process of company building. We aim to help early-stage start-ups avoid the common pitfalls that cause promising ventures to fail before achieving their full potential.

Is there a clear and defined programme goal?

What are your selection criteria?
We are looking for highly-motivated founding teams with the drive, passion and creativity to successfully lead their companies into the next phase of growth. Founding teams should exhibit effective collaboration and a thorough understanding of their target market.
What is the application and/or selection process like?
Prospective participants should submit an initial application via www.meetincubator.com to outline their company details and what they hope to achieve from taking part in the Meet Incubator programme. We will be in contact with shortlisted applicants for an interview and the final selection results will be released by mid September.
Is the programme difficult to get into?
We believe in nurturing talented teams with the drive and potential to succeed. While we are selective, founding teams should not feel discouraged to apply as we will afford every application with equal consideration on a case-by-case basis.
Do you have a record of client success to date?
Yes, we have numerous testimonials and success stories from startups that had previously joined incubator programmes run by Meet Ventures. You can view them in the above section on “TESTIMONIALS”.
Will I be assigned an incubator manager?
Yes, all participants will be assigned an incubator manager. Each of our incubator managers have experience working with more than 100 startups across Southeast Asia and have supported programs for both MNCs and government agencies.
Will I have access to your network and resources?
Yes, we will be introducing you to our mentors and sharing your pitch decks with our investor network.
What are the ongoing program requirements and graduation criteria?
All startups need to attend at least 80% of all the masterclasses and group mentoring sessions to be considered as graduates of Meet Incubator. We also expect all our startups to have a ready MVP and at least one customer by the end of the program.
Do you offer a physical workspace?
We are currently adopting a remote-working arrangement due to Covid-19 restrictions. All mentorship and training sessions will be delivered in-person online.
What are your working hours?
Our usual working hours are from 9.00a.m - 6.00p.m. (GMT+8) Monday to Friday, but we remain firmly committed to supporting participating start-ups 24/7 and will continue to provide resources and guidance as and when they are required.
